Founded in 2013 by CEO Brad Cooper, DARTT was established to bridge a long-standing gap between transport operations, digital systems and real-world infrastructure. Today, the consultancy works across public and private sectors on projects that support sustainable transport, active travel, public transport enhancement and smarter, more resilient networks.
Leadership and Experience
Brad Cooper brings over four decades of experience in transport, logistics and systems analysis. After graduating in Civil Engineering, he began his career in the early 1980s working in systems analysis for Freight Computer Services (part of the National Freight Consortium), followed by Excel Logistics, later acquired by DHL.
His work spanned fashion retail, grocery and leisure sectors, designing and implementing systems for both small independent operators and major multinational organisations. This experience was gained across the UK, Europe and the United States, giving Brad a deep understanding of how transport systems operate at local, national and international scales.
As a co-founder of a business that grew into one of the UK’s leading traditional telematics providers, Brad developed a comprehensive understanding of supply chain management, fleet operations and performance optimisation — insights that continue to inform DARTT’s work today.
